Black Violins - live concert shot with a mix of RED and HVX cameras over two shows in March. Joe managed to conform two separate shows into a single multi-clip sequence - not easy considering the size disparity between the HVX 720P footage and the RED 4K 16X9, with pick ups recorded onstage during the show breaks. One day to get all of the concert footage and make it work.

Joe did a tremendous job of bringing all of the elements together and delivering a high quality final edit for me to grade in Apple Color (this is before the lovely addition of our Tangent Wave - which we love). We mastered the whole project out to 1080P/24 for BluRay and standard DVD at 480P.

The Black Violins are currently on a world tour that includes China, Switzerland, and somewhere in the Middle East. They are really awesome to watch and a real inspiration as they speak to the potential of hard work and dedication in the arts. Don't miss their show if they come to a theater/stadium near you.
